Food Porn of The Week: Mexican Style Grilled Corn


I made Mexican style grilled corn for my husband's birthday this past weekend and it was a huge hit.  My inspiration was the awesome corn I buy whenever I go to Cafe Habana.  I didn't follow a recipe, I just put some mayo, butter, and cheese together and played with the amounts a bit.  Super healthy, I know!  The main ingredient for this recipe is Cotija cheese, but in a pinch you could substitute Parmesan.  Here is a recipe I found that may very well duplicate my results.  Just an FYI the squeeze of lime right before you eat it is key.

  8. This sounds just like the corn I make,( Mayo+ Jerk seasoning+ coconut flakes. Heavenly.) Im going to have to try your version next. Sounds yum.
