I am completely over this frosty, snowy weather.  OVER. IT!  Browsing through J. Crew's new spring arrivals reminds me that spring will be here before we know it.  I've said it before and I'll say it again; J. The Coveted

As you saw here I love the idea of being able to peek into the mind and closets of the fashion savvy.  Sounds a little odd, but I know I'm not the only one.  The Coveted is another site dedicated to taking gorgeous photos the contents of fashionistas closets. Loves it!!!!

Food Porn of The Week: Zinburger

Chris and I were in the mood for burgers this past weekend so we ventured out to Zinburger at the suggestion of my sister.  It did not disappoint.  We had no shame and ordered like champs...

Ribbons & Lace

This weekend we attended a Sweet Sixteen.  The dress code was "black and white".  It was a perfect occasion to wear this ribbon printed blouse I purchased a couple of weeks ago.  The lace skirt complimented it pretty well.  I'm not ususally a fan of mixing lace and prints, but it worked.  I fell in love with this necklace when I first laid eyes on it.  It was a steal so I had no choice, but to buy it ; ) Red lipstick added a pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit.

Happy First Birthday Little Blog

I just realized that a year ago yesterday I started this little blog.  I can't believe how fast time has gone by! I truly love taking the time out to create an entry (almost) everyday.  It's actually kind of therapeutic.  As I mention in my "About Me" this blog is used as an outlet to express the sides of my personality that don't get to shine as often as I would like due to the distractions of everyday life.  I am so grateful for all of my readers and the awesome bloggers I have come in contact with throughout the year.  If you are reading this blog for the first time I am grateful for you too.

Food Porn of The Week: Pastelitos de Guayaba y Queso

This is another super simple recipe that is always a crowd pleaser.  Pastelitos de Guayaba y Queso aka Guava and Cheese Turnovers remind me of being a little girl.  They were almost always included in the little "pickings" at any of our family parties and get togethers.  I typically don't use a recipe, but here is a good one to follow.

Golden Globe 2011 Top Five Faves

Did you watch the Golden Globes last night?  I thought there was a lot more best dressed than worst dressed this year.  The trends of the evening were long sleeved, emerald green, red, and blush pink.  Here are my top five faves...

#1 Anne Hathaway in Armani Privé.  She Shut.It.DOWN.

 # 2 Angelina Jolie in Versace.  I love emerald green.

# 3 Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad.  If anyone could pull off this sparkly cape it would have to be JLo.
