The phrase "Arm Party" is synonymous with The Man Repeller. Girlfriend has some serious arm parties going on.  Check some of them out here (so hot).Whether you are wearing one chunky statement cuff or a bevy of assorted bracelets, this look may appear as not thought out, but we all know the truth. ; )

My Favorite Fall Makeup Trends

Metallic Smokey Eyes - Love this sparkly take on a dramatic smokey eye.

 Natural Glow - perfect for everyday.  Look clean and polished without trying too hard.

 Gold Tones - Wear this look during the day with a golden eyeshadow and some mascara. Take it into night with some dramatic kohl rimmed eyes, a darker tone at the crease of your eyelid, and a few extra coats of mascara.

Defined Brows - The eyes are the windows to the soul. I consider brows to be the curtains ; ) They frame the face and this season they have become the focal point in beauty.

Wine Stained Lips - My favorite trend of all. A dark lip makes a deep impact, so keep the rest of your makeup simple with pale blush and shadow.  Just purchased Plum Perfect by Maybelline and I love it.

Mixed Berry-Oat Muffins

These muffins are not only super delicious, but they are actually healthy for you.  I was inspired by Candice Kumai's Raspberry-Oat muffin recipe from her cookbook Pretty Delicious, which you may have seen in this post.  Instead of just using raspberries I used frozen mixed berries which came in handy since berry season is now sadly behind us.  I also used 100% white whole grain flour which I purchased at Trader Joe's.  Can't remember the last time I was so looking forward to breakfast.

Eye Candy of The Week

It seems like fall is finally ready to descend upon us. I'm looking forward to the transition since autumn is my favorite season. The feeling in the air, the colors, the clothes, pumpkin based baked goods, apple and pumpkin picking, you get the point. My goal this weekend is to re-organize my closet and get rid of stuff I haven't used in a while in order to make room for the new fall goods. Hopefully, I won't get sidetracked ; )

Beauty Supply Run

I have said this before and I will say it again.  I LOVE going to the beauty supply store.  I always go in with the intention of buying a few things and always end up with way more than I thought I would.  Here are a few things I got on a visit to Harmon Face Values...

Fall Wedding Wear Inspiration

Zucchini Fries

 These zucchini fries make for the perfect guilt free snack because they are baked, not fried.  The addition of red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese to the panko breadcrumbs adds a little kick.  I chose to make a little mayo ketchup (lowfat mayo, ketchup, and a little garlic powder) as a dipper.  Being a little more health conscience has never tasted so good.

Our Weekend with Josiah

This weekend Chris and I had the pleasure of baby sitting our Godson, Josiah. He's such a sweet baby boy. Although when he cries he sounds like the baby Hulk. LOL! The best part of the weekend had to be after his morning feeding. He was just hanging out with us in bed happy as ever.

Fashion's Night Out - NYC

 Last night my sister Jill and I attended Fashion's Night Out in NYC. The city was packed, the streets were buzzing, and the champagne was flowing. This was the perfect way to start off Fashion Week. Have a great weekend everyone!
